Stars on Parade 2024 Wrestling Championship In Nigeria to herald Governor Ododo’s 100 days in office in Kogi State

Kogi State born wrestler of appreciable repute and continental standard, the African Topclass Pro Wrestling Stars (ATWS) Middleweight Champion, Mohammed Attai popularly known around the wrestling arenas as Aliking the Action Disaster, has announced that arrangements are on for the African Topclass Pro- Wrestling Stars (ATWS) Middleweight Title defense billed to take place at the confluence city of Kogi state on Sunday 31st of March, 2024.

The championship, tagged ‘STARS ON PARADE 2024’, will parade wrestlers of international standard and repute from Nigeria, Congo DRC, Benin Republic, Mali, South Africa, Uganda and Cameroon and will provide the Kogi State born international wrestler the opportunity of defending his African Middle weight belt against The Black Tiger of Cameroon on his home soil of Lokoja, the Confluence State Capital.

Meanwhile as part of preparation for the fight, Aliking on Thursday, February, 15, 2024 visited the newly appointed Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Monday .A. Anyebe where he used the opportunity to officially welcome him to his office and also briefed him on preparations ahead of his title defence.

Aliking The Action Disaster

Speaking during the visit, Aliking said “this visit is to officially welcome the Honorable Commissioner to his office and brief him on the forthcoming wrestling extravaganza in Kogi State. You will recall that he was nominated as commissioner designate on the 27th of January and subsequently his name was forwarded to the state House of Assembly for confirmation and thereafter assigned to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development. The highly intelligent, youthful, and vibrant Commissioner reported to the Ministry with passion to take sports to their peak in the Confluence State and that’s why I deem it fit to come and officially welcome him to office and rub minds with him on how to move Kogi State sports forward.”

Welcoming the champion to his office, the youthful Commissioner expressed appreciation for the visit and commended him for doing the state proud in wrestling. He promised that in keeping with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s passion for moving sports forward in the state, his Ministry will give him all the necessary support for the successful organization of the wrestling championship.

The visit provided a pre- championship interactive session between champion Aliking and officials of the Ministry towards ensuring a conducive promotion atmosphere for the proposed African Topclass Pro Wrestling Stars (ATWS) Middleweight Title defense billed to take place at the Confluence State of Kogi on the 31st of March, 2024.

Speaking on his preparedness for the title defense, Aliking boasted that his Cameroonian opponent will not have any hiding place as he’ll not disappoint his numerous fans on that day.

”I’m highly prepared for the title defense and my opponent will really feel the heat when I handle him. I am aware that my challenger has been boasting that he’s coming to Nigeria to disgrace me before my fans but one thing I want to promise him is that by the time I finish with him, he will retire from the mat man’s game.”
