Nepal Ring Wrestling Association rocks Nepali mountainside with impressive display

Nepal Ring Wrestling Association got back in the ring for another outdoor event that showed off Nepal’s breathtaking countryside. This time, the NRWA was in Gurje on October 1st for Bada Dashai Mahabhidanta. The sights of Nepal’s wilderness in the background was amongst the most beautiful it’s been yet for one of the NRWA’s events, with the event taking place from the top of a misty mountain. Things got even more interesting to watch once the rain started falling.

Some of the photos from the event looked absolutely awesome and we’ve shared some below but there are a ton more on the NRWA Facebook page.

All of the matches from the event have now made their way to the NRWA’s YouTube page. In tag team action, the duo of Baka and Spider Man defeated Tupi Gang.

In women’s division action, Tanu defeated Akriti following a top rope splash that saw her change direction in mid-air.

In an impressive and fast-paced lightweight division match, CJ World outlasted Sujal.

In a wild triple threat match, David, Chattan and Shine brawled inside and outside the ring. David took to the air on a big dive to the outside early on that sparked the out of the ring brawl that would lead to Chattan cracking a chair over David’s back. The rain really started to come down during this match and despite the dangerous and slippery conditions, David was still able to connect on an impressive top rope superplex on Shine. Chattan would win the match after connecting on a devastating pop-up powerbomb on David.

In the Heavyweight Championship main event, King Robert and Nuwakote Tiger met in a fierce brawl during an absolute downpour. Despite the rain, both wrestlers looked crisp and King Robert was able to connect on some jumping spin kicks while showing no difficulty managing the wet conditions. King Robert lured the champion Nuwakote Tiger into a game of cat and mouse, fleeing and re-entering the ring, making Nuwakote Tiger engage in a chase before King Robert pounced on Tiger as the champion rolled back into the ring and the challenger began to wear the champion down with submissions. Tiger would recover and regain control but eventually missed his signature elbow drop. Robert couldn’t take advantage of the big miss though, or so he made the viewers believe, and Nuwakote Tiger appeared to remain in control. However, the champion let his guard down, turned his back on his challenger, and engaged with the crowd. King Robert used this opportunity to sneak a roll-up cover from behind and score a shocking three count. With the win, King Robert was handed the Ring Wrestling Heavyweight Championship belt and became the new title holder.

As is usually the case with the NRWA’s events, the winners were paid out with a winner’s purse to reward their hard work and success.
