New European Ultraviolent Championship belt introduced by Poland’s PpW with winner being crowned in Saturday’s main event

Match to crown inaugural European Ultraviolent Champion also included second title change.

Details are still being released and video is still yet to come but word is getting out about some aspects of this weekend’s big Ledwo Legalne 2 event held in Warsaw, Poland by PpW. The hybrid hardcore wrestling promotion held a big event this past weekend from a new, bigger venue and all of the footage and reviews we’ve glossed over so far have looked great.

There is one piece of breaking news, though, that we would like to share for the time being before getting more in depth on the show in the future. It has been confirmed by PpW on their Facebook page that Saturday night’s main event in Warsaw, a deathmatch that was labeled as a Chaos Gods Deathmatch and seemed to have an abundance of fluorescent light tubes involved, was actually a title match. And not only was it a title match, it was a double title match and one of the belts on the line was a brand new title that was revealed as a surprise by PpW on the night of Ledwo Legalne 2.

The deathmatch main event featured PpW’s own Johnny Blade taking on the visiting Viking who was making his second trip to PpW from the Czech Republic where he competes with VcV Original Wrestling. From the clips we’ve seen and the discussions with fans that we’ve had, it was a brutal and bloody match that both wrestlers were lucky to make it out alive from. One of the competitors not only made it out of the match alive, but he also left the match as a double champion.

In winning the match, Johnny Blade became the first ever PpW European Ultraviolent Champion. We have yet to speak with PpW about the new title belt, but the name of the belt implies that we may be seeing some of the best ultraviolent wrestlers from all around Europe lining up to compete for this one.

Not only did Johnny Blade become the first ever PpW European Ultraviolent Champion by winning the match, he also became the brand new Hardcore Champion of VcV Wrestling by defeating Viking.

Congratulations to Johnny Blade on his double title win! We’ll keep you posted on more details about this new belt, what to expect and what else went down at PpW Ledwo Legalne 2 on Saturday in Warsaw.
