Wrestling Revolution Global to hold big outdoor event in Lahore that will see the company crown their first champion and will feature massive Pakistani viral star

This Sunday, March 6th, Wrestling Revolution Global will be back in action in Lahore, Pakistan for a major outdoor event. The show is set to take place in the velodrome outside of Gadafi Stadium, the large cricket stadium with a capacity of 27,000 that is the home to the national cricket team of Pakistan.

The event is titled Championship Muqabla and tickets are on sale and available for purchase.

The “championship” part of the event title is very fitting as WRG will crown their first ever champion at the event. The Lahore-based company has released some footage of that new title belt, which looks great, that you can see in this preview video. The title belt was created by MW Belts who do some really great belt design work. The title belt will be decided in the night’s main event in a singles match between the undefeated Jibran Khan and Abdullah Khawaja, trainee of the Dubai-based Al Snow Wrestling Academy and founder of WRG. Both wrestlers are coming off big wins at WRG’s last event, November Nitro, with Khawaja having survived a particularly destructive tables, ladders and chairs match.

Also set to appear at Championship Muqabla is the massive (both figuratively and literally) Pakistani viral star Khan Baba. Baba calls himself the world’s strongest man and has claimed to stand at 6’6” and weigh over 900 pounds in the past. It’s unsure what the Pakistani Hulk’s role will be yet at the event but the massive star has shared his desire to wrestle for the WWE in the past and he has stepped foot in a Pakistani ring before, competing in some action for VCL Wrestling which is also based in Lahore.

Along with the championship match and the appearance of Khan Baba, more matches are expected to take place at the big outdoor show. While specifics have yet to be announced, it’s expected that WRG stars such as Rowdy Kakar, Blue Mysterioso, Harry Lion, Talha Taram, Zain Khan and more will be in action. It is also expected that the event will eventually be available through the On The Mic YouTube channel which is usually the case with WRG’s events.

We’ll do our best to keep you updated and provide a link to the event once it’s released!
