New working agreement between Australian and Thai promotions announced

In a post shared to Facebook today, SETUP Thailand has announced a new working agreement and talent exchange with Australia’s Southern Territory Wrestling. This new agreement will allow wrestlers from SETUP to compete in Australia for STW and vice versa. This is a great opportunity for both sides, as it allows Thai wrestlers the opportunity to compete in a wrestling scene that has a little bit more experience than their hometown scene. For the Australian wrestlers, or will give them experience traveling the world while honing their craft as a professional wrestler.

For those that follow the site closely, you may recall that this is not the first high profile international agreement that Southern Territory Wrestling has announced. In fact, earlier this year, STW announced a similar working agreement with Pro Wrestling Africa.

Once the Covid-19 travel restrictions are loosened and international travel becomes safer for pro wrestlers, wrestling fans could be in store for a very unique, internationally influenced wrestling product coming from STW. We’ll have to keep an eye out to see what the end result of these working agreements will be!
