2021 Copa Sandokán winner declared in Panama

The 2021 Copa Sandokán has concluded! The annual tournament that honors the living legend of Panama Lucha Libre, Sandokán, was completed this past Saturday in Panama City.

This year’s tournament was decided by 8 competitors in a one night tournament. In the end, current Global Wrestling Evolution Tag Team Champion Mr. Pascual left the GWE Arena in possession of the sacred cup and a title shot against a GWE champion of his choice.

From the looks of this video that was shared to the GWE Instagram account, it looks like Mr. Pascual has made his choice as to which title he wants to get his hands on. That would be the GWE Championship that’s currently held by Vandal Ortagun. But that title is also in the sights of 2020 Copa Sandokán winner, Pandora Blake!

It will be interesting to see how this title drama plays out in GWE. Be sure to give them a follow on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with the latest around the title belt situation. And join us in offering a congratulations to Mr. Pascual for his 2021 Copa Sandokán victory!
