WRG crowns first champion at outdoor show in Lahore, Pakistan

Jibran Khan has defeated Abdullah Khawaja in the main event of Wrestling Revolution Global’s Championship Muqabla event from this past Sunday. With the victory, Jibran Khan remains undefeated in the squared circle and has been crowned as WRG’s first champion.

Jibran Khan celebrates with his WRG championship belt. The title belt was designed by MW Belts.

Another aspect of the event that we recently covered in a preview piece for the event was the presence of massive (both in size and popularity) Pakistani viral star Khan Baba who was advertised to be making an appearance at the show. Originally, we were unsure if that appearance would be a match but it looks to have been an in ring segment where Khan Baba took on five WRG wrestlers at one time. The big man looked very agile and athletic for his size. You can watch Khan Baba’s entire in-ring appearance with WRG below.

At this time, match results haven’t been made fully available by the Lahore-based WRG. For further updates on the event and the wrestlers involved, be sure to check out WRG’s Instagram page. The full event is expected to be released to the On The Mic YouTube page as is the case with WRG’s previous events so be sure to subscribe to their channel now to catch the historic inaugural title match and Khan Baba’s appearance and keep an eye out for the video’s release.
